Cabaret Caleidoscope
I Berlin 1934 i gryningen spelar några envisa gäster som inte vill släppa den varma euforiska känslan som festen kulminerat i. Det som många år senare skulle uppfattas som en udda sättning var inget ovanligt bland musikerna i deras kretsar. Där dansade ljudstarka saxofoner och melodiösa flexatoner hand i hand med bandoneoner och hackbräden.
Dom kallar sig Cabaret Caleidoscope och stannar kvar i drömmen och trotsar tristessen samtidigt som undergången lurar bakom hörnet…
När Cabaret Caleidoscope återuppstår på 2020-talet finns samma behov av att sjunka in i ett verklighetsbefriande musikaliskt rus som då på 30-talet.

Frihetens namn
I had the opportunity to arrange the music for the 2h 15min long cabare de lyx ”Frihetens Namn”. I must say that it was a thrill to rewrite something that my favorit composer had written. I was really scared when I sent over the new score. But then Andrea Taroddi was a total joy to work with and we had really a fantastic cooperation.

I’m thrilled to be a part of the line up when performing Henry Dutilleux Mystère de l’instant with Malmö Symphony orchestra in March 2020. A marvelous piece and a special solistic part for the cimbalom. (Canceled due to the pandemic)
This lovely setup was 50% of Gregory Lloyds and my concert at the grandios Katarina church in Stockholm.
Always a pleasure to make music with this fantastic church organ player.
Sibelius, Korngold, Bolcom and Wagner was on the music stand.
At the Composer festival in Stockholm 2019 at Konserthuset I performed the cimbalom part in ”Into The Little Hill” by George Benjamin. I true genius that was so humble. Such a fine person!!!
I also had really good contact with Franck Ollu.

In the violinconcerto L’Arbre des Songes by Henry Dutilleux, cimbalom has an important roll. Placed in the center of the orchestra beside the soloist on the composers request.
I played the cimb and wonderful ISABELLE VAN KEULEN played the violin. Conducter was Marc Soustrot and the orchestra was of course Malmö Symphonie Orchestra. The concert took place 10 sept 2015
Hoffmans Äventyr at Folkoperan!! This Opera Was staged at folkoperan jan-maj 2015 and I was arranged for Soloists, Choire and chamberorchestra and I performing cimbalom and percussion, had a solistic and acting part.

I Askil Massons Konsert för Kroumata och stor orkester frontar slagverksensemblen och utgör solostämman. jag ingick i Kroumata och GöteborgsOperans oskester stod för kompet. Konserten gjordes i Konserthuset i Göteborg.
